Our Client is an international company, leading biotech manufacturer, specialized in human therapeutics. For almost than 30 years, the company was engaged in scientific research and innovation in term of molecular biology.
The company employs over 17000 people and has an important presence in Poland.
Given the size of the operations in Poland and CEE region the decision has been taken to create a dedicated Purchasing Department. Therefore we are currently searching for a suitable candidate to be a Country Sourcing Manager and to provide procurement analysis, sourcing initiatives, strategies and business engagement.

Aufgabengebiet
Reporting to Financial Director in Poland, as well as, to the International Procurement Director, the position holder will take overall responsibility for strategic procurement categories in Polish, Czech and Slovakian business units.

Country Sourcing Manager will be in charge of:
- Identifying, analyzing and executing Procurement activities, plans and expertise to CEE region
- Sourcing (ad-hoc actions; opportunity identification in term of purchase demand; definition of stakeholders requirements; tendering; supplier selection)
- Category management
- Strategy development with participation in International category Sourcing teams
- Purchase to Pay, ensuring conformance to procurement process policies
- Drive purchasing costs down whilst improving service levels through an effective procurement process including the management of key suppliers
- Increasing the profile of purchasing internally with the ultimate goal of purchasing being seen as a true strategic function.

Anforderungsprofil
- Relevant INDIRECT Procurement experience (at least 3 years), with proven familiarity with MARKETING, ADMINISTRATION & OPERATIONS and R&D category.
- Procurement experienced gained in FMCG / Business Services / Pharma/ environment - and all other sectors where Spend dedicated to Sales & Marketing; R&D; Professional Services is important.
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures and proven successes in building purchasing policy
- Business orientation and proven results in generation of savings and in searching of internal saving solutions;
- Strong project management and capacity to initiate change;
- Good interpersonal and negotiating skills;
- Very good Polish, English and CZECH (!) is a must (Russian is a plus)
